What/Who is a VILC subscriber?

How much does it cost to subscribe?

  • Phone and email support for users.
  • Access to Easynews, Realweb, Listen to this! and Checkout.
  • A free regular e-newsletter with lots of information about the latest tasks and great teaching / learning ideas.

What are concurrent users?

Concurrent users are the number of users at a particular institute that log on to VILC at any one time. Usually the number relates to the number of computers that will be used at any one time. By logging out after use the same number of students can log on again and again in any one day.

What are the system requirements?

  • 128 Mb Ram minimum
  • Pentium III, minimum
  • Sound card
  • MS Internet Explorer 7 or higher
  • Mozilla Firefox

What happens if I don’t log out?

If you forget to log out or close the browser without logging out, the number of available logins will be reduced.

This means that the next class / student at your institute may not be able to log in if all logins have been used up.

NB: If you make a mistake and don’t log out properly the site will allow you back in after 30 minutes.
