    ANZAC became famous on 25th April 1915 when the ANZAC Corps landed at Gallipoli.  Over 10.000 Australians and New Zealanders were killed and 24,000 injured in this battle.  However, the bravery and high standards set by the soldiers and everyone involved in the attack made the ANZAC Corps and its spirit famous.
